Slowly making progress. Tricky, for the limited color shirt design, to get all the blues and purples and sparkles that I want. This is very much a work in progress at this point. Photoshop CC and a Cintiq

When designing for shirt sites like tee Fury, you have a certain number of shirt colors to choose from, and can only use 5-6 colors in the design. Halftoning helps, but it’s a part of my job that I struggle with, colors are a weakness for me. This is NOT done, still have some tweaking, but I am trying to figure out what shirt color works best. Liked it on charcoal, but now leaning toward Teal. Harumphh.
What do you think, Tumblr?
(Pssst..it’s little Anna from Frozen, and a certain blue box appeared in the castle..)

"I miss so much about teaching. I taught 500 kids a week, from Kindergarten to 5th grade. I loved working with all the different media from glitter to glue to paint and watercolors and clay, and all the crazy stuff in between. I loved planning lessons that incorporated not only art history but pop culture themes. Every October, I would play the kids the song “This is Halloween” from the Nightmare Before Christmas” and have them read the lyrics..then pick an image from the song and illustrate it. So fun. I miss the kids, they kept me on my toes, but they were inspiring. I would always have music on in the background while we worked (mostly soundtracks from movies, Star Wars, Disney, Harry Potter, etc), it was a fun atmosphere. Loved watching kids get excited about art. Most important lesson I tried to teach…Art is never perfect, it is not supposed to be. There is no right or wrong in art. In Math, 2+2=4. In Art, 2+2 can equal whatever you want it to. ”Doing a little Q and A on my Facebook page. :)https://www.facebook.com/KarenHallion
